Weitzman is seeking a Sales Associate to join its corporate office located in the Uptown area of Dallas. The Sales Associate will perform all leasing activities and develop networks and strong market-wide tenant, broker, and ownership relationships, and identify potential tenants.

Responsibilities 

• Source new tenants, negotiate, analyze and close lease transactions within the assigned portfolio
• Establish tenant and industry relationships
• Perform market surveys and cold calls
• Develop and send marketing packages and materials to potential tenants
• Thorough understanding of  demographics, traffic patterns, and market trends
• Be knowledgeable of competing shopping centers and rental rates
• Provide leadership to less experienced team members
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s Degree – degree in Business or Real Estate preferred
• Texas Real Estate License required
• 5 or more years of experience in retail leasing with a strong deal sheet
• Experience canvassing and cold calling
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Demonstrable industry relationships
• Skilled in relationship building, negotiation, mathematics, time management, and organization
• Exhibit initiative, assertiveness, persistence, ambition, good judgment, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Ability to focus on many tasks and requests at once and to work independently in a high-pressure environment
• Dependable and punctual
